Sterling Holiday Resorts Launches Sterling Avante Mohali, Strengthening Its North India Presence
Sterling Holiday Resorts has announced the launch of Sterling Avante Mohali, expanding its footprint in North India with a hotel designed to support corporate travel, conferences, and celebration-led stays.
Located in TDI City, Sector 117, Sterling Avante Mohali reflects the evolving character of Mohali—an emerging urban centre shaped by business activity, social gatherings, and the region’s cultural ethos of chardi kala. The hotel is positioned to cater to both weekday business needs and weekend social and family occasions, offering facilities suited to productive stays, meetings, weddings, and community events.
Mohali’s growth as an important part of the Chandigarh Tricity, supported by increasing enterprise presence and improving road and air connectivity, has contributed to rising demand for business travel and event infrastructure. Sterling Avante Mohali addresses this demand with contemporary rooms and suites, consistent service standards, and event-ready spaces that can accommodate formats ranging from boardroom meetings to family celebrations.
Dining forms a central part of the guest experience. Essence, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, provides a flexible setting for business meals, hosted dinners, and social gatherings. The menu features a mix of Indian favourites, regional influences, and global selections.

For meetings and events, the hotel is anchored by the Crystal Banquet Hall, designed to adapt to conferences, product launches, weddings, and social functions. These offerings are supported by Sterling’s operational and culinary teams.

Commenting on the launch, Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO, Sterling Holiday Resorts, said that Mohali’s commercial growth, connectivity, and role within the Tricity make it a relevant destination for business travel and large gatherings. He added that Sterling Avante Mohali has been developed to support efficient stays, well-equipped meeting spaces, and dependable event delivery, aligning with the company’s focus on destinations with consistent, year-round demand.
Maninder Singh Marwah, Director, Shining Star Hospitality, noted that Mohali is increasingly becoming an extension of the Chandigarh Tricity’s business and events ecosystem. He said the partnership with Sterling was driven by the brand’s operating experience across business and leisure destinations, and its ability to address the needs of corporate travellers, event organisers, and families.
The hotel offers convenient access to Chandigarh International Airport and Chandigarh Railway Station, and serves as a convenient base for travellers planning onward journeys to leisure destinations in the region.

With the launch of Sterling Avante Mohali, Sterling Holiday Resorts continues to build a diversified portfolio spanning resorts, leisure hubs, spiritual destinations, and business-focused hotels, with an emphasis on location strength, operational reliability, and experiences centred on food, gatherings, and hospitality.
