Royal Orchid Hotels Signs New Property in Rishikesh

Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd. (ROHL) has announced the signing of a new property in Rishikesh, a well-known destination for spiritual tourism and adventure activities. The hotel, which will operate under a management agreement, marks ROHL’s entry into Uttarakhand’s growing tourism market and supports the company’s asset-light expansion strategy.

The 36-key property is located in Tapovan, Rishikesh, providing convenient access to the River Ganga, local ashrams and nearby adventure hubs. Designed to accommodate both spiritual travellers and adventure seekers, the hotel will include well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet and conference facilities suitable for destination weddings and corporate events, as well as wellness amenities such as a spa and fitness centre. Its setting will also offer access to popular landmarks, including Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.

Chander K. Baljee, Chairman and Managing Director of Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd., stated that Rishikesh holds significance in India’s tourism landscape due to its combination of spiritual heritage and adventure offerings. He added that the signing aligns with the company’s vision of expanding into culturally relevant destinations and contributes to its growth in North India.

The new property is being developed in partnership with IRIS PARK LEISURES PRIVATE LIMITED. Varun Sharma and Manoj Gupta, authorised representatives of the company, noted that the collaboration aims to bring the Regenta experience to Rishikesh, combining local tranquillity with consistent hospitality standards.
