Raffles Jeddah Opens on the Red Sea Corniche
Raffles Jeddah Brings New Hospitality Experience to Saudi Arabia
Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Raffles Jeddah, a new hotel located along the Red Sea Corniche in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The property marks the brand’s second hotel in the Kingdom, joining Raffles Makkah Palace.
Located on Jeddah’s waterfront, the hotel offers views of the Red Sea and places guests close to attractions including Fakih Aquarium, Al Shalal Theme Park, Red Sea Mall, and Boulevard Jeddah. King Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 25 minutes away by road.
The hotel’s design draws inspiration from Jeddah’s maritime heritage and traditional Hejazi architecture. Features such as mashrabiya screens, carved wood latticework, and regional design elements have been incorporated throughout the property. The interiors were designed by Robert Angell, while the spa and wellness spaces were created by Tristan Du Plessis.
The hotel includes 182 guestrooms and suites, 40 of which offer Red Sea views. Guestrooms begin at around 66 square metres and feature interiors inspired by the colours of the sea and sky, along with locally influenced design details and artworks.

Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts, said the opening strengthens the brand’s presence in Saudi Arabia and supports the country’s tourism development plans under Vision 2030.

Fredrik Blomqvist, General Manager of Raffles Jeddah, said the hotel has been designed to reflect the character of Jeddah while delivering the personalised hospitality associated with the Raffles brand.
The hotel also includes multiple dining venues. Surl’O, an all-day brasserie overlooking the Red Sea, combines culinary influences from different regions, while Atorie Lounge & Patisserie offers pastries, desserts, and beverages inspired by French and Japanese techniques. An additional restaurant concept inspired by Mediterranean coastal dining is expected to open later.
Raffles Spa and Wellness includes separate wellness facilities for men and women, treatment rooms, Moroccan hammams, fitness centres, swimming pools, and a private couple’s treatment suite.
For meetings and events, the hotel offers six meeting rooms, a business centre, a VIP lounge, and two ballrooms, Pearl and Crystal, featuring large windows overlooking the city.
The hotel forms part of Accor’s growing hospitality portfolio in Saudi Arabia as the country continues to expand its tourism and hotel sector.
