Radisson Hotel Group Opens Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife, expanding its resort portfolio in Spain. Located in Puerto de la Cruz on the northern coast of Tenerife, the resort is set on a hillside with views of Mount Teide and offers a blend of resort-style accommodation and longer-stay living.
The property includes 241 rooms and residences, crafted to offer a comfortable island lifestyle with modern amenities. Many units have views of gardens or the natural landscape. Guests choosing Crown Service enjoy exclusive access to a private area with drinks and snacks, a dedicated breakfast space, certain in-room amenities, minibar access, and personalized services.
The resort’s design draws on Tenerife’s cultural heritage and natural setting, combining local architectural influences with a contemporary layout. Buildings are positioned to create open spaces surrounded by tropical gardens, with public areas named after national and natural parks of the Canary Islands to reflect a connection to the destination.

Joep Peters, Chief Operating Officer, Franchise, Radisson Hotel Group, said the opening supports the group’s focus on expanding in resort destinations that offer flexibility and a strong sense of place for leisure travellers.
Dining at the resort highlights regional and international flavours. Tremor Restaurant offers a buffet menu using locally sourced ingredients, supported by a curated wine list and themed dining evenings. Magma Pool Bar serves light dishes and beverages throughout the day, while Magma Cocktail Bar provides a relaxed setting for cocktails, spirits, and music.

Well-being is a central element of the guest offering. The Laurisilva Wellness Centre offers treatments including massage, aromatherapy, and beauty therapies. Additional facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool with solarium, landscaped gardens, and quiet outdoor spaces designed for relaxation.
Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife offers a selection of meeting and event venues named after the Canary Islands’ natural parks, including Tagoror, Anaga, Orotava, Tejina, Tamadaba, Brezal, and Maspalomas. The spaces range from indoor meeting rooms to outdoor terraces and are supported by modern technology, adaptable layouts, and an on-site events team.
Situated in Puerto de la Cruz, the resort offers convenient access to key attractions, including Lago Martiánez seawater pools, La Orotava Botanical Garden, and the historic town of La Orotava. Guests can also explore Teide National Park, home to Spain’s highest peak, or visit the UNESCO-listed city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna for cultural and historical experiences.

Onésimo Dorta, General Manager of Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife, said the opening reflects the destination’s natural environment and relaxed pace, while delivering Radisson’s approach to hospitality for guests seeking both rest and connection during their stay on the island.
