Radisson Hotel Group strengthens hotels footprint with Thane and Mira Bhayandar projects

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of two new properties in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region: Radisson Hotel Mumbai Thane and Radisson Hotel Mumbai Mira Bhayandar, in partnership with Vihang Group.

The two projects, comprising a total of 217 rooms, reflect the company’s focus on expanding into emerging business corridors within metropolitan areas, where infrastructure development and commercial activity are increasing.

The Radisson Hotel Mumbai Mira Bhayandar will be developed at Vihang Ventura on Mira Bhayandar Road, with access to National Highway 48 and Mumbai’s western suburbs. The property will include 103 rooms, along with dining venues, meeting and event spaces, and leisure facilities such as a gym and swimming pool.

The Thane property will feature 114 rooms and will be located along Pokhran Road, close to commercial and retail areas. It will offer connectivity to Thane Railway Station, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport.

Both developments are part of mixed-use projects that integrate hospitality with retail and commercial spaces. This approach supports demand from business travellers, meetings and events, and local markets.

About Mira Bhayandar, Mira Bhayandar Municipality, Tourist Attractions

Thane and Mira Bhayandar are emerging as business hubs within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, supported by infrastructure upgrades and increased corporate presence, particularly in sectors such as IT and financial services. This has led to increased demand for organised hospitality offerings.

With these signings, Radisson Hotel Group continues to build its presence in Mumbai, where it currently operates four hotels and has additional projects under development.
