Christel Jose Appointed as General Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott Walnut Creek (Quorum Hospitality)
Residence Inn by Marriott Walnut Creek has appointed Christel Jose as General Manager.
In her new role, Christel Jose will oversee overall hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, guest services, and day-to-day management functions. Her responsibilities include coordinating with department teams, maintaining operational processes, and supporting service delivery across the property.
She is associated with Quorum Hospitality, where she joined in May 2023. Since then, she has held multiple roles, including Assistant General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Campbell Pruneyard Plaza and Corporate Task Force General Manager, contributing to operational initiatives across properties.
Prior to this, she served as Director of Rooms at Juniper Hotel Cupertino Curio Collection by Hilton. Her earlier experience includes roles with JDV by Hyatt, where she worked across properties such as El Capitan Hotel in Merced and Hotel Avante in Mountain View, handling guest experience and front office operations.
She began her career with roles at Wild Palms Hotel in Sunnyvale, progressing from Front Desk Agent to supervisory and managerial positions, gaining experience in front office operations and guest services.
Christel Jose holds a degree from San Jose State University.
Located in Walnut Creek, the property caters to extended-stay travellers, where consistent operations and service coordination play a key role in guest experience.
