Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram Appoints Asaph Axel as Assistant Sales Manager – Wedding Specialist

Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram, a unit of GRT Hotels & Resorts, has announced the appointment of Asaph Axel as the new Assistant Sales Manager – Wedding Specialist.

In this role, he will focus on wedding sales, guest engagement, and supporting the resort’s events and celebrations segment. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, coordinating wedding requirements, and contributing to sales performance within the segment.

Prior to this, Asaph served as Assistant Sales Manager at Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Center. Earlier roles include Sales Marketing Executive at Kaldan Samudhra Palace and Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Fairfield by Marriott in Chennai.

The career progression also includes experience as a Human Resources Coordinator with ITC Hotels and an earlier role in sales at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited.

With experience across sales, marketing, and guest service functions, Asaph brings familiarity with hospitality operations and client servicing.

The appointment aligns with the resort’s focus on strengthening its wedding and events business.
