Qatar Airways Debuts New F1 Livery During Qatar Grand Prix Weekend
Qatar Airways concluded a memorable weekend at the Qatar Grand Prix, showcasing a blend of sports, culture, and aviation both on and off the track. As the Title Partner of Formula 1, the airline congratulated Max Verstappen on his victory at the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix.
Before Saturday’s Sprint race, spectators witnessed a Qatar Airways flypast over the Lusail International Circuit. Media and invited guests were given an early preview of the airline’s new F1-themed livery designed by Swizz Beatz. The aircraft, equipped with Starlink high-speed gate-to-gate Wi-Fi, enabled guests to broadcast live from onboard as it passed over the circuit.
The new livery was later revealed at the Qatar Airways Hangar, featuring a special appearance by Kevin Hart, who staged an F1-inspired entrance. The event brought together notable partners and guests, including David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Rio Ferdinand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Swizz Beatz, and Novak Djokovic, making it one of the weekend’s key moments.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “This weekend brought together creativity and sport, engaging partners from various fields to create a shared community moment. The introduction of our new F1 livery generated strong interest from fans of sport, design, and aviation. The flypast captured global attention and became the most-tracked flight for a full 24-hour cycle on Flightradar24. Based on the response, this F1 design is set to hold a distinct place in aviation identity.”
Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777 with the new livery will operate on winter-season routes, scheduled to appear in London, Melbourne, New York, and Tokyo. This aircraft can be tracked using its registration number: A7-BEG.
