Qatar Airways Expands South American Network

Qatar

Qatar Airways has unveiled its upcoming expansion in the Americas, introducing two additional weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, set to launch in early summer 2025. These new flights will link Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha with Bogotá El Dorado International Airport (BOG) in Colombia and then proceed to Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport (CCS) in Venezuela. The return journey from Caracas will offer a nonstop service back to Doha.

This new service establishes Qatar Airways as the first and sole airline providing nonstop flights from the Middle East to Colombia. It is also the only Middle Eastern carrier operating in Venezuela. The introduction of Bogotá and Caracas expands Qatar Airways’ Americas network to 16 destinations, including major cities such as Dallas, Miami, New York City, São Paulo, and Toronto.

The new services from Bogotá and Caracas, operated by Boeing 777-200LR aircraft featuring 42 Business Class and 234 Economy Class seats, will offer travellers from two of South America’s busiest cities easy access to the Middle East and beyond, thanks to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network that spans over 170 destinations.
