Planet Hotels and Resorts Announces Kings Mansion, New Luxury Property in North Goa

Planet Hotels and Resorts has announced Kings Mansion, a new luxury hotel set to open in early 2026 in North Goa. Located on the site of the former Kingfisher Villa, this property is the latest addition to the company’s growing portfolio in India.

Founded in 2013 with the launch of Planet Hollywood Beach Resort, Goa, Planet Hotels and Resorts has expanded its presence, focusing on experiential hospitality that blends design, entertainment, and personalised service. The group strengthened its footprint in 2022 with the opening of Planet Hollywood Thane City and continued its expansion in 2025 with the launch of its Manali property under the Beatle brand.

Kings Mansion will feature 48 luxury rooms along with a curated resort and spa offering. The property is designed to integrate contemporary aesthetics with immersive guest experiences. Planned facilities include a pool, bar, lounge, beach deck, gym, salon, and a wellness space named Ojas Sva, along with dining and leisure options designed to support relaxed, refined stays.

Anand Chatterjee, Executive Director of Planet Hotels and Resorts, said the project reflects the group’s approach to developing properties that focus on personalised guest experiences. Claude Pinto, General Manager, added that the aim is to offer an intuitive, immersive stay while honouring the location’s heritage.

Looking ahead, Planet Hotels and Resorts has outlined plans to open new destinations in Tirupati, Udaipur, and Hyderabad in 2026, continuing its expansion across key Indian markets.

With its planned 2026 opening, Kings Mansion is expected to contribute to North Goa’s evolving hospitality landscape by offering a new luxury accommodation option.
