The Holiday Inn Goa Candolim has appointed Manjur Alam as its new Rooms Division Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including nine years with Intercontinental Hotels Group and five years with Radisson Hotels Group, Alam brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of excellence. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead teams with innovation and deliver outstanding results in every role he has undertaken.

Alam’s professional journey began at Crowne Plaza Bengaluru, where his dedication and commitment allowed him to rise from associate to duty manager, gaining invaluable expertise in guest relations, team leadership, and operational efficiency. His tenure with IHG flourished as he served as Senior Duty Manager at Holiday Inn Chennai OMR IT Expressway, where he played a key role in ensuring seamless front office operations, conducting pre-opening activities, and maintaining brand standards through quality audits. Most recently, as Cluster Front Office Manager at Radisson Gwalior, Alam excelled at optimizing key metrics, including guest satisfaction, service excellence, and revenue optimization, while driving operational efficiency and cost control.

Throughout his career, Alam has held diverse roles at globally recognized hospitality brands such as Radisson, Crowne Plaza, and Holiday Inn. He has consistently managed high-performing teams, executed pre-opening projects, and upheld the highest service standards. His expertise in managing brand-standard audits, enhancing guest experiences, and fostering a culture of excellence positions him as a strong and inspiring leader.
