Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed Javier Águila as the new President of the Inclusive Collection, effective March 1, 2025. He will continue to serve as Group President for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME). This new appointment emphasizes Hyatt's commitment to its global all-inclusive portfolio, which encompasses roughly 55,000 rooms and aims to enhance the growth potential of its 11 Inclusive Collection brands. Among these is the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts brand, recently added to Hyatt’s portfolio through a 50/50 strategic joint venture with Grupo Piñero, of which Águila is a Board member.
Águila’s appointment follows Hyatt’s introduction of five brand portfolios: Lifestyle, Luxury, Inclusive, Classics, and Essentials. Additionally, Amar Lalvani has established and overseen a Lifestyle group. More updates regarding a new Luxury group will be shared later this year.

Javier possesses a growth mindset and is filled with ideas for innovation and continuous improvement in performance for all our Inclusive Collection brands.”
