Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol Opens in Los Cabos
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and RLH Properties have announced the opening of Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol, a new hotel in Mexico. Located along the coastline within the Cabo del Sol community, the resort introduces the Park Hyatt brand to Los Cabos, blending contemporary design with the relaxed atmosphere of Baja California Sur.
Design-Led Spaces Rooted in Place
The architectural concept, led by Sordo Madaleno, draws from historic elements of Mexican architecture, including courtyards, arcades, water features, and timber structures. These references are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens to create spaces that engage with the surrounding desert and sea, balancing openness with privacy.
The resort features 163 guestrooms and 88 suites, ranging from 452 to 1,254 square feet. All accommodations offer ocean or resort views, private terraces or patios, deep soaking tubs, and walk-in showers. Select rooms include private plunge pools.
Three ocean-view private villas are designed for families and multi-generational stays, including two-bedroom and three-bedroom Options. Each suite and villa includes generous living areas, full kitchens, and the support of a dedicated resort ambassador, creating a residential-style experience.
In addition to hotel stays, Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol offers a limited selection of 11 villas and 8 apartments for purchase. These four- to six-bedroom residences are fully furnished and feature biophilic design, locally sourced materials, and custom furnishings that reflect regional craftsmanship.
