Oceania Cruises Plans Refurbishment of Oceania Marina
Ship to Undergo Redesign as Part of OceaniaNEXT Programme
Oceania Cruises has announced plans to refurbish its ship, Oceania Marina, as part of its ongoing OceaniaNEXT programme.
Scheduled to enter dry dock in October 2026, the 1,250-guest vessel will undergo a full redesign, including updates to all staterooms and enhancements across public areas. The work is part of a broader effort to align the design and onboard experience across the fleet.

All staterooms will be updated with new layouts, furnishings and bathrooms. Suites, including Penthouse, Oceania, Vista and Owner’s Suites, will also be refreshed to maintain consistency with recent upgrades across the fleet.
Public spaces such as bars and lounges will see updated interiors, including new furnishings, carpeting and lighting. The Grand Lounge will be expanded to include the Founders Bar, offering a range of beverages.
The refurbishment will also include the introduction of a new Chef’s Studio, replacing the existing Artist Loft. The space will be used for culinary demonstrations and food-focused experiences.
Dining venues, including Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana and Jacques, will undergo design updates and operational improvements. The onboard café, Baristas, will be expanded to include a bakery offering pastries and baked items throughout the day.
Outdoor areas will also be updated, with new loungers and day beds added to the pool deck.
The refurbishment of Oceania Marina marks the first phase of a series of planned updates under the OceaniaNEXT programme, which will focus on design, dining, service and onboard experiences across the fleet.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, said the programme reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to refine the onboard experience while maintaining its existing service approach.
