APPOINTMENT
Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa has announced the promotion of Karan Singh Nagra to the role of Marketing & Communications Director.

Karan previously served as Marketing & Communications Manager at the resort. Since joining Hyatt Regency Dehradun, Karan has played a key role in increasing the hotel’s digital presence, launching new campaigns, and enhancing brand visibility through strategic PR.
In his new position, Karan will oversee the resort’s complete marketing and communications portfolio. His responsibilities will include leading integrated marketing campaigns, strengthening brand positioning, driving performance-led digital marketing initiatives, and managing public relations, media outreach, and influencer collaborations.
Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa, Karan held senior marketing roles across hospitality, media, and retail. His previous assignments include Senior Marketing and Communications Manager at JW Marriott Hotel Kolkata, Head of Marketing and Activations at 91.9 Friends FM (ABP Group), and Assistant Manager – Marketing at Spencer’s Retail (RPSG Group).
Commenting on the elevation, Sumit Kumar, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort & Spa, expressed confidence in Nagra’s leadership, noting that his marketing acumen and strategic vision will play a vital role in strengthening the resort’s business growth and brand positioning in the region.
Speaking on his new role, Nagra shared his appreciation for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to driving meaningful guest engagement, brand storytelling, and long-term growth for the resort.
