Chef Gaurav Chauhan Appointed as Executive Chef at Namak Indian Restaurant and Bar

Namak Indian Restaurant and Bar, Dallas, Texas, has announced the appointment of Chef Gaurav Chauhan as Executive Chef. He brings over a decade of experience in hospitality and restaurant operations across India and the United States.

Before joining Namak Indian Restaurant and Bar, Chef Chauhan was associated with Sanjh Restaurant in Dallas, where he was involved in menu development, kitchen operations, staff training, inventory management, hygiene compliance, and food cost control.

Throughout his career, Chef Chauhan has worked with hospitality companies including Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Taj Hotels, Pullman Hotels and Resorts, Novotel, and The Park Hotels. His previous assignments include Andaz Delhi, Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, and The Park Kolkata.

His professional experience spans Indian and Western cuisines, banquet operations, catering management, and restaurant development projects. He has also participated in restaurant pre-opening initiatives involving kitchen planning, menu creation, equipment selection, and team recruitment and training.

Chef Chauhan has contributed to hospitality projects in both India and the United States, with responsibilities including menu development, kitchen operations, team management, workflow planning, food safety implementation, and culinary standardization.

In his new role at Namak Indian Restaurant and Bar, Chef Chauhan will oversee kitchen operations, menu planning, banquet execution, and culinary team management. He will also be involved in developing menu offerings and supporting the restaurant’s day-to-day culinary functions.

During his tenure at The Park Kolkata, Chef Chauhan worked on menu planning, recipe standardization, and kitchen section management. At Pullman New Delhi Aerocity and Andaz Delhi, he gained experience in hotel culinary operations and multicuisine food production. He began his hospitality career at Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, where he worked across multiple kitchen departments.
