MGallery Opens Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos in Greece

Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos Expands MGallery’s Presence in Greece

MGallery Hotel Collection has added a new property to its growing portfolio in Greece with the opening of Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos. Located between Ornos and Korfos on the island of Mykonos, the 35-room hotel offers guests direct access to the Aegean coastline while providing a quieter setting away from the busier areas of the island.

The opening strengthens MGallery’s presence in Greece and adds another destination to the brand’s collection of boutique hotels across the country.

A Location Between Two Distinct Coastlines

Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos occupies a position between Ornos Bay and Korfos Bay, offering guests access to two contrasting coastal environments. Ornos is known for its sheltered waters and swimming conditions, while Korfos attracts visitors interested in water sports and open sea views.

Although the property is located just a short distance from Mykonos Town, it focuses on privacy and a more relaxed atmosphere.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery Collection & Emblems, said the opening reflects the brand’s continued development in Greece and its focus on hotels that reflect the character of their destinations.

A Family Hospitality Story

The hotel forms part of the Daktylides family’s hospitality business, which began on Mykonos in 1979. Over the years, the family has developed several properties across the island while maintaining close ties to the local community and culture.

Marios Daktylides, General Manager at Myconian K Hotels, said the partnership with MGallery Collection allows the property to reach a wider audience while retaining its local identity and connection to the island.

Accommodation Designed for Different Travellers

Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos features 35 rooms and suites designed to accommodate different travel styles. Guest rooms range from compact accommodation for travellers spending most of their time exploring the island to larger suites with private terraces, Jacuzzis and plunge pools.

The property caters to couples, families, honeymooners and international visitors seeking a stay close to the coastline.

Dining and Wellness Facilities

Dining at the hotel centres around eNa, the property’s signature restaurant, where menus focus on seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients. The rooftop terrace overlooks both Ornos and Korfos and serves as a gathering point throughout the day.

The hotel’s Cave Spa offers wellness treatments inspired by natural elements and traditional practices. Additional facilities include outdoor areas for yoga and meditation.

Delos Experience Highlights Local Heritage

As part of MGallery’s signature “M Moment” programme, guests can take part in a private dawn excursion to the nearby island of Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites.

The experience includes a guided visit led by a historian, followed by a traditional Cycladic breakfast featuring local ingredients while overlooking the Aegean Sea.
