Data and AI platform to support guest experience across Minor Hotels

Minor Hotels has announced plans to develop a global data and AI platform in collaboration with Google Cloud, Salesforce, OneTrust and Deloitte.

The platform is part of the company’s ongoing digital transformation, with a focus on integrating guest data and marketing and service operations across its portfolio of properties.

The initiative centres on building a unified system that allows the group to recognise guest preferences across brands and locations, enabling more consistent communication and service delivery. Data privacy and governance are also being incorporated into the platform’s design from the outset.

The system will be developed independently of legacy technology, allowing the company to adopt current AI capabilities, including automation and intelligent systems. Deployment is expected to be completed in 2026.

Ian Di Tullio, Chief Commercial Officer at Minor Hotels, said the company is focusing on strengthening its ability to manage guest relationships and respond to changing travel behaviours through data-driven systems.

The platform will be built using Google Cloud’s infrastructure, including tools such as BigQuery and Vertex AI, to support data integration and analysis.

Salesforce will support marketing automation and guest engagement through its systems, enabling communication across different stages of the travel journey. OneTrust will oversee data governance and privacy compliance, while Deloitte will lead the integration of the platform into the company’s operational framework.
