Minimalist Hotels to Open New 20-Room Boutique Retreat Overlooking Lake Pichola in Udaipur

Minimalist Hotels is preparing to debut in Udaipur with a 20-room boutique property overlooking Lake Pichola. Scheduled to open in November 2025, the retreat continues the brand’s approach of combining pared-down luxury with locally inspired experiences. Set in the heart of Udaipur, the new hotel is positioned as more than just a place to stay. A rooftop bar, designed as a modern, elevated space, will offer views of the lake and city skyline. The rooftop setting aims to cater to Udaipur’s growing leisure and nightlife segment.

The rooftop bar will serve a mix of globally inspired and locally influenced cocktails in a thoughtfully designed space. Open to both hotel guests and city residents, it aims to create a relaxed yet social atmosphere. Located close to heritage attractions and fine dining, the property will also curate guided tours and cultural experiences.

“Udaipur is a destination rich in history and art, and we wanted to create something that reflects that through the principles of minimalism. This project aims to offer a balanced mix of design, experience, and a strong sense of place. The rooftop space is designed to become a memorable part of each stay.”
