Minimalist Hotels Opens New Lifestyle Property in Varanasi

Minimalist Hotels has announced the opening of a new lifestyle property in Varanasi, offering a design-focused stay that combines contemporary interiors with the city’s cultural character. The new hotel adds to the brand’s presence in the destination and marks its third property in Varanasi, reflecting the city’s growing appeal among travellers.

The 22-key property has been designed with a focus on clean architectural lines, neutral colour palettes and locally inspired materials. The interiors aim to create a balanced environment that reflects both modern design and elements connected to Varanasi’s cultural setting.

The hotel caters to a range of travellers including digital nomads, leisure visitors and business guests. Facilities include high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces, pet-friendly accommodation, complimentary breakfast and in-room amenities designed to support both short and extended stays.

At the centre of the property is CABAMI, a rooftop restaurant and bar that functions as an all-day dining space. The venue hosts community-focused events and live music evenings, while offering a menu that draws on Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, and Pan-Asian cuisines, alongside select Indian flavours.

Guests staying at the property can also take part in a variety of curated local experiences designed to introduce them to Varanasi’s cultural life. These include heritage walks, Banarasi silk-weaving tours, sunrise and sunset boat rides on the Ganges, guided Ganga Aarti viewings, and excursions to Sarnath.
