Marriott Hotels Opens Property in Corrientes, Argentina
Marriott Hotels has announced the opening of the Marriott Corrientes, a new property situated in the Boulevard District, a central neighbourhood in northeastern Argentina. The hotel combines contemporary design with local cultural elements and features reflecting the Paraná River region.

“The opening of Marriott Corrientes is a testament to our commitment to strategic expansion in South America, bringing elevated hospitality to emerging destinations,” said Brian King, President of Marriott International for the Caribbean and Latin America.
“Corrientes is a city full of energy, heritage, and natural beauty, and we are proud to introduce a hotel that celebrates its spirit while offering the exceptional service and experiences guests have come to expect from Marriott Hotels.”

The hotel offers 104 rooms and suites, including Executive and Premium categories. The interiors utilize regional materials and design influences, such as traditional Corrientes brick and local craftsmanship, to create comfortable spaces connected to the area’s culture.

Culinary offerings are led by Chef Olivier Falchi at Cautivas Restaurant & Café, which emphasizes regional ingredients with a global perspective. Predilecto Rooftop features cocktails, music, and stunning views of the Paraná River. Guests can enjoy 24-hour room service and access the M Club lounge, which provides refreshments, workspaces, and amenities for Marriott Bonvoy members.

The Marriott Spa & Wellness Centre offers treatments inspired by local ingredients and regional practices. Guests can also enjoy the infinity pool with views of the Paraná River, along with a fitness centre equipped with Technogym technology.
The hotel offers more than 600 square meters of event space, including the Libertad Room, which can accommodate corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings for up to 638 guests in a theatre-style arrangement. The Marriott Corrientes is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, allowing members to earn and redeem points across Marriott’s extensive portfolio of over 30 brands, which includes hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, and co-branded credit cards.
