Marriott Bonvoy to deliver member experiences for FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America
Marriott Bonvoy has announced plans to offer a range of member and guest experiences around the FIFA World Cup 2026, following its appointment as the Official Hotel Supporter in North America. The tournament will take place across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, marking its return to the region after more than three decades.
As part of the partnership, Marriott Bonvoy will support fans travelling to the tournament by providing hotel stays, curated fan activations, and access to FIFA World Cup–related experiences. These will include dedicated Marriott Bonvoy Moments, exclusive travel packages, and limited-edition offers, with additional details to be announced closer to the event.
With a broad portfolio of hotels across all host cities, Marriott Bonvoy aims to serve as a consistent base for fans attending matches, participating in fan festivals, or travelling between venues throughout the tournament period.

Peggy Roe, Chief Customer Officer at Marriott International, said the partnership reflects the shared role of sport and travel in bringing people together, noting that the programme is designed to help members create meaningful experiences connected to the tournament.

FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström welcomed the collaboration, highlighting Marriott Bonvoy’s hotel presence across the three host countries as a key support for the large number of domestic and international fans expected to travel during the competition.
Marriott Bonvoy includes more than 30 hotel brands across 143 countries and territories, spanning luxury, premium, and select-service segments. The loyalty programme is supported by an ecosystem that includes hotels, credit cards, and global partnerships.
Alongside its role as an Official Supporter of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Marriott Bonvoy will also collaborate with Visa, a long-standing FIFA partner, to engage fans and travellers globally through tournament-linked experiences.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will feature 48 teams competing in 104 matches across 16 host cities in three countries. The tournament is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, and is expected to draw significant in-person attendance and global audience engagement.
