Barbara Göttling Appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Munich

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Barbara Göttling as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Munich, effective May 2026. She succeeds Marc Epper.

Born in Vienna, Göttling brings more than 20 years of international experience in luxury hospitality. Most recently, she served as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Prague, where she focused on the hotel’s strategic development and market positioning.

Over the course of her career, she has held senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, and operations with global hotel groups such as Hyatt and Accor. She is also involved in mentoring and initiatives supporting women in the hospitality industry.

In her new role, Göttling will oversee the strategic direction of Mandarin Oriental, Munich, with a focus on guest experience, local engagement, and service delivery.
