Katie Cahill Appointed General Manager for SCP’s Laguna Beach Hotels

Soul Community Planet Hotels (SCP Hotels) has announced the appointment of Katie Cahill as General Manager of Laguna Surf Lodge by SCP Hotels and SCP Seven4One Hotel.

Cahill brings extensive boutique hospitality experience across New York, Los Angeles, and Laguna Beach, with a strong focus on guest-centric operations and service-led experiences. In her new role, she will oversee operations and guest experience across both properties, aligning with SCP Hotels’ focus on wellness, sustainability, and intentional hospitality.

Most recently, Cahill served as General Manager of Hotel Joaquin, where she contributed to enhancing the property’s luxury boutique positioning and strengthening its connection with the local community. Her prior experience includes roles with hospitality brands such as AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences, Sunset Tower Hotel, and Proper Hospitality.

Alongside her operational responsibilities, Cahill has been serving as a board member of Visit Laguna Beach since 2022, contributing to destination marketing and community engagement initiatives.
