Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the signing of The Landmark Kanpur, which will join the JdV by Hyatt brand as part of the brand’s ongoing strategic expansion in India.

The hotel is owned by Som Datt Landmark Hotels and Recreations Private Limited, and located in one of Kanpur’s established neighborhoods. It is scheduled to open in early 2026.
The 170-room property will include a spa, four dining outlets, and a range of event facilities, including a 7,200-square-foot lawn on the 21st floor, designed to serve both business and leisure travelers.

The signing supports Hyatt’s strategy to expand its lifestyle hotel offerings in India, providing travelers with independent, locally influenced hospitality experiences in important commercial and industrial hubs.
