Jamaica Recognized at 2025 Caribbean World Travel Awards

Jamaica has received recognition across multiple categories at the 2025 Caribbean World Travel Awards, including Caribbean’s Leading Destination—an honour the country has earned nineteen times.

The World Travel Awards acknowledge achievements across hospitality, tourism, and travel services. Jamaica’s awards this year highlight its ongoing focus on quality service, product development, and visitor experience.

“Jamaica continues to demonstrate consistency in hospitality delivery. These acknowledgments reflect the dedication of our people, who are central to the tourism sector. We appreciate this recognition as we prepare to welcome five million visitors and generate USD 5 billion in earnings,” said Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism.

Among the key categories, Jamaica was named the Caribbean’s Leading Cruise Destination and the Caribbean’s Leading Destination, with additional recognitions for partners across the airport, cruise, and hotel segments.

“Our island remains recognized for its diverse tourism offerings, from food to music. This acknowledgment reflects the collaborative effort of our partners across the sector,” said Donovan White, Director of Tourism.

These recognitions reinforce Jamaica’s position as a preferred destination for travellers, cruise lines, and industry stakeholders, supported by continued investment in infrastructure and service standards.
