IHG Hotels & Resorts Announces New Holiday Inn Prayagraj

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with GPKP to establish Holiday Inn Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, scheduled to open in 2025. 

With a history of over 70 years, Holiday Inn is one of the world’s most popular and respected hotel brands, catering to both family and business travel. The upcoming Holiday Inn Prayagraj will add to IHG’s existing 57 Holiday Inn properties in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Located in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Holiday Inn Prayagraj aims to offer its guests a seamless and enjoyable experience. As a significant hub for commerce and spirituality, Prayagraj is renowned for hosting large gatherings such as the Prayag Kumbh Mela and Megha Mela, attracting millions of visitors. The new hotel will cater to various needs, including business and leisure travel and religious visits, featuring 95 rooms, a restaurant serving meals throughout the day, a meeting room for business functions, and a fully equipped fitness centre.

IHG operates 45 hotels under five brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express. There is also a strong pipeline with 50 hotels scheduled to open within the next 3-5 years.
