IHG Hotels & Resorts to Launch Garner Brand in Southeast Asia with Pattaya Opening
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the introduction of its Garner brand in Southeast Asia, with Garner Hotel Pattaya Central scheduled to open later this year on Thailand’s east coast.
Developed in partnership with Nova Park Company Limited, the hotel will open with 153 rooms and suites in its first phase. Garner Hotel Pattaya Central will feature an all-day dining restaurant, swimming pool, fitness centre, and DIY laundry facilities.
Garner, IHG’s midscale conversion brand launched in 2023, has grown to 51 open hotels across markets including Japan, the US, and Germany, with 87 more in the pipeline. Each property focuses on providing essential amenities such as comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, bean-to-cup coffee, and convenient grab-and-go options at the Garner Shop.
This project builds on IHG’s existing relationship with Nova Park Company Limited, following their collaboration on Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central.
Pattaya, located about an hour from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, is a major tourism and business destination. The new Garner property will become the fourth IHG hotel in the city, joining InterContinental Pattaya Resort, Holiday Inn Pattaya, and Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central.
IHG currently has 40 open hotels and 41 in the pipeline in Thailand.
