Hyatt Opens Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chanba in Chanba Ecological District

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of the Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chanba, an urban retreat in the Chanba Ecological District of northeast Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. The hotel is conveniently located near the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Centre, making it an ideal destination for both business and leisure travellers visiting the area.

Location and Surroundings

Guests can enjoy walking or cycling along the nearby riverfront, exploring the global garden landscapes at Xi’an Expo Park, or visiting Xi’an Chanba National Wetland Park. Recognized as one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the starting point of the Silk Road, Xi’an offers numerous historical and cultural landmarks, including the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Terracotta Army. Visitors can also explore various museums and enjoy cultural performances.

The Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chanba reflects the cultural heritage and natural beauty of Xi’an. Its architecture is inspired by the ancient Chinese practice of stacking stones, which symbolizes balance and harmony with nature. Hyatt Regency Xi’an Chanba provides more than 2,680 square metres of event space, including the 1,380-square-metre pillarless Regency Ballroom with an eight-metre ceiling, suitable for conferences or banquets of up to 1,000 guests. Additional venues include the 800-square-metre Regency Salon, five function rooms, and a 180-square-metre outdoor lawn for wedding ceremonies. Built-in LED screens and dedicated event and culinary teams are available to support a variety of occasions.
