Hyatt Regency Ludhiana has announced the appointment of Debjeet Banerjee as General Manager.

In this role, Banerjee will oversee overall hotel operations, including sales, positioning, administration, and strategic initiatives. His responsibilities include managing operational performance and supporting long-term business objectives for the property.

Banerjee brings experience in hospitality operations, having held leadership roles with brands such as The Park New Delhi, Taj Lands End, Taj Palace New Delhi, and Grand Hyatt New Delhi. His professional background includes work in hotel operations, team management, and service delivery.

In his new role at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, he is expected to focus on strengthening the hotel’s market positioning, operational processes, and guest experience, while supporting team development initiatives.

Banerjee has also been involved in hospitality operations during events such as G20, B20, and Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2023.

He is a graduate of International Institute of Hotel Management and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of North Bengal. He has also completed professional certifications in strategic finance and marketing for hotels from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration.

He will report to Lokesh Sabharwal, Regional Vice President – Operations.

With this appointment, the hotel continues to strengthen its leadership structure in line with its operational and business objectives.
