Hyatt Opens Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa in Mexico
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa, the newest addition to the Secrets Resorts & Spas portfolio. Located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, the adults-only, all-inclusive property supports the brand’s continued expansion in Latin America and the Caribbean, following recent openings in St. Lucia, Aruba, and the Dominican Republic.
Situated eight miles from Cancun International Airport, the resort is positioned between the Caribbean Sea and the Nichupté Lagoon, offering views of surrounding coastlines and beachfront landscapes.

Culinary Offerings
The resort features eight restaurants offering French, Mediterranean, Asian, and steakhouse dining, all without reservations. Guests may also book private dining experiences for an additional charge, including beachside dinners or curated meals in wine and agave cellars. Six bars and lounges—including a swim-up bar, sushi bar, and music lounge—serve domestic and international beverages, with additional interactive experiences such as cocktail-making sessions.
Accommodations
Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa has 487 rooms and suites designed with a modern coastal aesthetic. Each space incorporates natural materials, contemporary details, and views of the ocean, lagoon, or gardens. The Preferred Club offers upgraded suites—including swim-out, plunge pool, and oceanfront options—along with a private lounge, rooftop Sky Bar, infinity pool, and a dedicated breakfast venue.
Experiences and Wellness
Guests have access to six pools with ocean views, including two pools and an oceanfront hot tub exclusive to Preferred Club members. Activities include an agave-focused tasting and learning experience, as well as sessions highlighting local Mexican customs and traditions.
The Secrets Spa, opening later, will feature treatments inspired by Mayan practices, incorporating natural ingredients and long-standing regional wellness techniques.
Meetings and Events
The resort offers a 967-square-foot pre-function area, a 2,800-square-foot ballroom, and a variety of indoor and outdoor venues designed for events, including weddings, meetings, and receptions. Event managers support planning with all-inclusive packages.

Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa has introduced initiatives focused on community engagement and environmental responsibility. These include soap recycling, plastic cap collection to support local health programs, community-led recycling efforts, and the use of locally sourced ingredients and regional artwork.
