Hyatt and Chase Expand Loyalty Program Collaboration
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced an expanded agreement with Chase, building on the existing collaboration that supports World of Hyatt cardmembers staying across Hyatt’s global portfolio.
World of Hyatt has grown to more than 60 million members since 2017 and continues to focus on member choice and recognition. The program maintains a higher number of members per hotel compared to other hospitality loyalty programs, resulting in increased direct bookings and repeat stays from loyalty members.

“Our expanded agreement with Chase represents the next phase in how we grow and engage with our most frequent travellers,” said Mark Vondrasek, Chief Commercial Officer, Hyatt.
“By strengthening this collaboration, we are creating additional ways for Chase cardmembers to engage with Hyatt’s portfolio and expanding opportunities for World of Hyatt members beyond their hotel stays.”
Hyatt anticipates an increased program-related financial contribution tied to the expanded collaboration, continued growth in World of Hyatt membership, the performance of Hyatt’s brand portfolio, and ongoing development in key markets. The partnership is expected to support additional stays through Chase Travel and Chase Ultimate Rewards. Starting in mid-2026, World of Hyatt Explorist status will be offered as a benefit to top-spending Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business cardmembers. Hyatt will also continue to add more luxury and premium properties to The Edit by Chase Travel collection.

“We are pleased to strengthen our longstanding relationship with Hyatt,” said Allison Beer, Chief Executive Officer of Card & Connected Commerce, Chase.
“Expanding Hyatt participation in our travel programs and adding loyalty status benefits enables us to offer more value and flexibility to our shared customers.”
Hyatt expects an estimated adjusted EBITDA impact of approximately $50 million in 2025 related to the new agreement, increasing to approximately $105 million in 2027. Hyatt will also receive $47 million in upfront pre-tax cash in the fourth quarter of 2025, recognized over the term of the agreement.
Hyatt and Chase will continue to offer the World of Hyatt Credit Card and the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card, which allow cardmembers to earn and redeem points across nearly 1,500 Hyatt hotels and all-inclusive properties, as well as over 1,200 properties in the Mr. & Mrs. Smith portfolio. Hyatt plans to expand its credit card offerings over time.
