Delta Adjusts Flight Schedule in Line with FAA Directive
Delta is implementing flight reductions at 40 U.S. airports, effective November 7, in accordance with directives from the FAA and the U.S. Department of Transportation.
All FAA-directed cancellations for November 7–8 have been completed. Delta is offering additional flexibility for customers travelling to, from, or through affected airports, including the option to change, cancel, or request refunds without penalties during the travel period.
Customers are encouraged to check flight status and explore rebooking options via delta.com or the Fly Delta app.
Delta expects to operate most flights as scheduled, including all long-haul international services, and will work to limit disruptions. Customers will be notified of any changes to their travel plans.

These schedule adjustments are in response to national air traffic control staffing constraints related to the ongoing government shutdown. They are intended to support the safe and stable operation of the airspace system.
