Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell Opens, Celebrating Local Craft and Creativity

Hotel Indigo, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has opened its newest property—Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell. Located at 2 Clerkenwell Road, a short walk from Farringdon Station, the hotel integrates neighbourhood-inspired design, reflecting Clerkenwell’s legacy in clockmaking, goldsmithing, and architecture.

The 143-room hotel draws from the area’s creative heritage. Guest rooms are styled like architect studios, featuring blueprint-themed headboards and desks designed as cutting mats. Details such as room numbers shaped like clocks reflect the district’s horological past. Rooms also include practical comforts like espresso machines, Urban Apothecary toiletries, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Dining options include Wilderness Kitchen, offering Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian-friendly dishes made with seasonal British produce; Sabini Bar, serving cocktails, coffee, and wine; and Hat and Feathers, a Grade II-listed pub delivering traditional British fare and a curated ale list.

The hotel includes two meeting and event rooms, accommodating up to 60 guests, and exclusive hire options for the Hat and Feathers pub. Additional offerings include a £40 food and beverage credit (available with direct bookings), and a Pet Getaway package with treats and dog beds for canine guests.
