IHCL Signs Taj Hotel in Naina Tikker, Himachal Pradesh
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Taj-branded hotel in Naina Tikker, Himachal Pradesh. The property, a brownfield project, marks IHCL’s continued growth in the state.
Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Naina Tikker presents a meaningful opportunity for the Taj brand to enter a lesser-known destination in Himachal Pradesh. With good connectivity and a setting surrounded by protected forest, it holds potential as a location for leisure, MICE, and social events. This development enhances IHCL’s footprint in the region, creating a circuit that links Chandigarh, Chail, Theog, and Dehradun. We are pleased to extend our collaboration with Micro Turners Group.”

The 120-key Taj Naina Tikker will offer scenic views of the Dhauladhar mountain range. Guests will have access to an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge. The resort will include a 4,000 sq.ft. banquet hall, meeting rooms, and pre-function spaces. Leisure and wellness offerings will feature a heated pool, spa, gym, health club, and activity centre, making it suitable for various travel segments.
Sachin Kapoor and Sagarika Kapoor of Micro Turners Group added, “We’re pleased to work again with IHCL and bring the Taj brand to Naina Tikker. This partnership aims to introduce a new hospitality offering in the region and contribute to the area’s tourism growth.”
Located in Sirmaur district, Naina Tikker is a peaceful hill station known for its natural surroundings, biodiversity, and spiritual sites such as the Mata Naina Tikker shrine and Bhureshwar Mahadev Temple. The region’s pine forests and open meadows make it a point of interest for nature lovers and bird watchers.
With this signing, IHCL’s portfolio in Himachal Pradesh now includes 13 hotels, with 8 in various stages of development.
