Sarovar Hotels & Resorts has signed a new hotel, Sarovar Portico, in Patiala, working with MGB Hotel and Banquet Pvt. Ltd. The hotel has 60 rooms and is located in a former princely state that was the district headquarters of Punjab. Here, guests can enjoy elegance along with Sarovar’s well-known hospitality.

Sarovar Hotels & Resorts is a chain of hotels and resorts in India. With 120 properties across 75 destinations both in India and internationally, Sarovar Hotels has transformed the hospitality landscape. The Sarovar experience combines warm hospitality with modern conveniences. The chain is owned by Groupe du Louvre, which was acquired by Jinjiang International in 2015. The Shanghai Municipal People’s Government owns Jinjiang International. Sarovar was founded in 1994 by Anil Madhok, who previously managed the luxury hotel brand Oberoi Hotels. The establishment of Sarovar aimed to fill the gap in India’s mid-market hotel sector.
