APPOINTMENTS
Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty has announced two new appointments, further strengthening its internal leadership team.
Rahul Chaudhary- Appointed as Director of Operations
Rahul brings over 20 years of experience having worked across leading luxury hospitality brands in both resort and city hotel environments. He started his hospitality career in 2007 and has developed extensive expertise in food and beverage operations, large-scale events, and multi-departmental hotel management.
Rahul joined the Hyatt brand in 2010 and has held key roles at Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa, Park Hyatt Hyderabad. In addition, he has also worked in senior operational roles with Conrad Pune and The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake & Lakeside Chalet – Marriott Executive Apartments.
In his new role at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Rahul will oversee day-to-day hotel operations, working closely with teams across departments to enhance guest journeys, optimise operational processes, and support the hotel’s continued growth across leisure, MICE, and culinary experiences.
Vinod K P- Appointed as Director of Security
Vinod brings over 30 years of experience spanning hospitality, aviation, healthcare and central government security services.
He began his career in 1991 and entered the Central Industrial Security Force as a Sub-Inspector in 1992. During his decade-long tenure, he handled a wide range of responsibilities including administration, intelligence, crime prevention, mechanical transport operations and senior-level liaison, building expertise in managing complex, large-scale security environments.
He later moved into aviation security with SriLankan Airlines at Calicut International Airport, before beginning his hospitality journey with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2007 as Security Manager at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa. He went on to serve as Head of Safety and Security at Park Hyatt Chennai.
Most recently, he was associated with Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd., Chennai, where he led operations safety and security for several years.
Commenting on his appointment at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Vinod described it as a homecoming after eight years, recalling his earlier tenure with Hyatt as one of the most meaningful phases of his career. Guided by his personal philosophy, “Be Good, Do Good,” he believes in leading with integrity, humility and collaboration.
