IndiGo to Launch Twice-Daily Bhavnagar–Navi Mumbai Flights from 29 March 2026

IndiGo has announced the launch of 14 weekly direct flights between Bhavnagar (BHU), Gujarat, and Navi Mumbai, effective 29 March 2026. With this addition, Bhavnagar becomes the airline’s 97th domestic destination and 142nd overall destination across its network.

The new service will be operated using IndiGo’s ATR aircraft. Bookings are open through the airline’s official website, mobile application and authorised travel partners.

Bhavnagar serves as a key commercial hub in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region, with activity across manufacturing, shipbreaking, salt production, and the diamond trade. Enhanced air connectivity is expected to support business travel, improve access to financial and commercial centres, and facilitate movement between the two cities.

Vinay Malhotra

Commenting on the launch, Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, said that with Bhavnagar’s inclusion, IndiGo now operates from five airports in Gujarat — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bhavnagar. He added that the new connection to Navi Mumbai will link the city to IndiGo’s wider domestic and international network.

The twice-daily frequency is designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers while supporting regional connectivity.
