Fairmont Hotels & Resorts debuts in Vietnam with the opening of Fairmont Hanoi
Fairmont Hanoi has officially opened its doors, marking the debut of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Vietnam. The property is part of Accor and represents the brand’s first presence in the country.
Located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, close to Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Fairmont Hanoi features 241 guest rooms, including 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites. The hotel also offers eight dining and bar venues, a wellness facility, and a large pillarless ballroom designed to accommodate events and gatherings in the city centre.

The property has been designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, drawing inspiration from Hanoi’s cultural heritage and urban landscape. Architectural and interior elements reflect influences from the Red River, the Old Quarter, and the Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long, combining contemporary design with local craftsmanship.
Fairmont Hanoi continues the brand’s approach of integrating its properties into the cultural and social fabric of its destinations. Guided by Fairmont’s global philosophy, “Make Special Happen,” the hotel aims to offer experiences rooted in local culture while maintaining the brand’s established service standards.

The hotel’s dining portfolio includes eight restaurants, bars, and lounges. Among them is the Tran Dynasty, led by chef Luke Nguyen, which focuses on modern interpretations of Vietnamese cuisine. Hiryu presents Japanese-inspired dining, while Bacco, overseen by Nicolas Isnard, offers Italian cuisine. Additional venues include 10 Central Café, YY Bar, the Fairmont Gold Lounge, and the Pool Terrace & Bar, some of which will open in phases.
Wellness offerings are centred around the Cirua Spa, Fitness & Wellness Club, a 38,000 sq. ft. facility that includes hydrotherapy areas, treatment rooms, fitness spaces, and thermal experiences. The wellness concept is designed to provide guests with spaces for relaxation and physical activity within the city environment.
Fairmont Hanoi also places a strong focus on meetings and events. The hotel features a 12,000 sq. ft. column-free ballroom, additional meeting rooms with natural light, and a total MICE area exceeding 4,000 square metres, catering to conferences, social events, and cultural gatherings.

Commenting on the opening, Omer Acar, Chief Executive Officer of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, said the launch reflects the brand’s long-term interest in Vietnam and its cultural depth. He noted that Fairmont Hanoi has been developed as a gathering place that brings together hospitality, culture, and community.
Representing the hotel’s owner, GELEX Group, Mr. Lê Tuấn Anh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, stated that the project aligns with efforts to support Hanoi’s urban development while respecting its cultural identity.

Jean-François Brun, General Manager of Fairmont Hanoi, added that the hotel blends Fairmont’s heritage with Hanoi’s local character, aiming to create meaningful guest experiences rooted in place and culture.
To mark its opening, Fairmont Hanoi is offering guests and ALL Accor members a stay promotion from February through April 2026, which includes a dining credit per night across the hotel’s restaurants and bars.
