APPOINTMENT
The Westin Goa has announced the appointment of Goutham N J as its new Executive Housekeeper.
Goutham brings 17 years of experience in the hospitality sector, including over a decade of association with Marriott International.
He started his career from Thrissur, Kerala as a Housekeeping Associate at ISTA Bangalore. Since then, he has been associated with several hotel pre-opening projects, including ISTA Pune, JW Marriott Bengaluru (UB City), and Kochi Marriott Hotel.
Goutham’s professional journey also includes a stint outside core hospitality operations, where he worked as Assistant Operations Manager at LULU Mall Kochi. He later returned to the hotel industry, taking on roles at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport and Port Muziris, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel.
In his new role at The Westin Goa, Goutham will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s housekeeping operations. His key responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and public areas, with a focus on operational efficiency and adherence to brand standards.
