Passengers have been advised not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by the airline or hold a confirmed booking on a scheduled flight.
The decision to restart limited operations was made in coordination with relevant authorities after safety and security assessments. The airline said it will continue to monitor developments and operate flights only when all safety requirements are met.

Guidance for passengers

Passengers affected by schedule changes will receive direct communication from the airline with updates about their bookings and available options. The airline has also advised travellers to ensure their contact details are up to date in their reservations.
Passengers holding tickets issued on or before 28 February 2026, with travel dates up to 21 March 2026, may rebook their flights without additional charges on Etihad-operated services up to 15 May 2026.
Travellers who prefer not to rebook can request a refund through the airline’s online refund form or via their travel agent. Those who booked through travel agents are advised to contact them directly for assistance.
Etihad also stated that customer service centres are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and encouraged passengers seeking refunds to use the online form. Etihad Airways said it will continue to review the situation and add more destinations as operational conditions allow, while maintaining safety requirements for all services.
