Emirates Enhances First Class Sleep Experience with New Loungewear and Onboard Comfort Updates
Emirates has introduced a series of updates to enhance rest for First Class customers, beginning in December. The refreshed experience includes new loungewear, updated bed linen, a refined turndown service, and additional comfort-led amenities across the cabin.
On select long-haul flights, First Class customers will receive newly designed loungewear, slippers, and eye masks. Made from soft modal fabric derived from sustainably sourced beech tree fibres, the loungewear is lightweight, breathable, and temperature-regulating. The two-piece sets are designed for onboard comfort, whether relaxing in the suite or resting. The women’s version is available in blush pink and light grey, while the men’s set features a two-tone grey palette. Matching slippers and eye masks complete the offering.
From 2026, Emirates will also introduce new 300-thread-count cotton bed linen across its First Class cabins. The updated bedding includes pillows, duvet covers, and mattress covers designed to complement the airline’s fully enclosed First Class suites, which feature lie-flat beds and privacy doors.
The updated First Class turndown service mirrors a hotel-style evening routine. Each turndown includes a prepared bed with duvet, a wellness card, and a light application of BYREDO Chamomile Pillow Mist. A piece of chocolate from selected chocolatiers, including Valrhona, Canonica, Coco Jalila, and Neuhaus, is placed on the bed as part of the service.

The Emirates A380 Shower Spa has also been refreshed, featuring redesigned display units and an updated product range from Irish skincare brand VOYA. Two fragrance collections—Tranquillity, featuring lavender and eucalyptus, and Revitalise, with honeysuckle and neroli—are now available, including hair, body, and skincare products. Hand creams are also offered in First and Business Class washrooms.
To complement evening service, Emirates has introduced new crystal-cut glassware for select beverages in First Class, including spirits, cocktails, and iced coffee options. A new brandy glass will also be added for selected cognac and brandy offerings.

In early 2026, Emirates plans to introduce the latest-generation First Class headphones, developed in partnership with Bowers & Wilkins. The new E2 model is explicitly designed for Emirates’ First Class suites and features enhanced noise cancellation, improved sound isolation, and integration with the airline’s in-flight entertainment system.
Together, these updates reflect Emirates’ continued focus on refining the onboard experience, with an emphasis on comfort, rest, and thoughtful service throughout the First Class journey.
