Club Med Announces Development of New Mountain Resort in Mont-Tremblant, Canada

Club Med has announced plans to develop Club Med Tremblant, a new premium all-inclusive mountain resort in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. The project represents an expansion of the brand’s presence in North America and will be Club Med’s second resort in Canada, following the opening of Club Med Québec Charlevoix in 2021.
The development is supported by a financing and long-term lease agreement signed between Club Med and Alderan, acting on behalf of its investment vehicle SCPI Comète. Under the agreement, Club Med will operate the resort and act as delegated project owner for its development. Alderan has also acquired the land from local developer Brivia, which will continue work on a residential project on an adjacent site.
The resort is scheduled to open in December 2028. Located in the Laurentian Mountains, the resort is planned as a four-season destination designed around a contemporary alpine chalet concept. The project is intended to serve families and active travellers, offering ski-in/ski-out access during winter and a range of outdoor activities in summer.

“Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy,” said Carolyne Doyon. ” With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience—providing immersive, one-of-a-kind vacations that have defined Club Med for decades.”
Planned facilities and services include:
Lift tickets included with winter stays
Multiple dining venues inspired by alpine and regional cuisine
Age-specific kids’ clubs for guests aged four months to 17 years
Wellness facilities including a spa
On-site accommodation for a portion of resort staff
The project is expected to create approximately 300 direct jobs, with additional indirect employment generated through local suppliers and service providers. .
Sustainability measures are also part of the development plan. The resort is targeting LEED certification for construction and Green Globe certification for operations, in line with Club Med’s broader environmental and social responsibility framework.

”With this investment in Canada, which will be operated by Club Med, a globally recognized premium all-inclusive vacation brand, the SCPI Comète which we developed two years ago—takes a major step forward in its international development and investment strategy. We are proud that individual French savings can contribute to such projects that combine enjoyment along with long-term stability and strong returns,” said Rémy Bourgeon, President of Alderan.

“We are proud to welcome the internationally renowned Club Med brand to Tremblant, complementing our existing offerings. This major project will elevate our four-season destination and expand our international reach. Tremblant’s dynamic energy combined with Club Med’s strength will lead to a premium offering and diversify tourism demand,” says Patrice Malo, President of Station Mont Tremblant.
