Emirates Organizes Tennis Clinic with Sloane Stephens and John Isner at the US Open
Emirates hosted a tennis clinic for six children from the Kings County Tennis League at Arthur Ashe Stadium during the US Open. The session was led by tennis players Sloane Stephens and John Isner and formed part of the airline’s Force for Good programme.

Children from the Kings County Tennis League, who had earlier benefited from the program’s first project at De Hostos Playground in South Williamsburg, participated in the hour-long clinic, receiving guidance from the two players.
The participants also received new tennis kits from the airline’s cabin crew members, including rackets, apparel, and accessories. They collected autographs, took photos with the players, and later visited the Emirates’ hospitality suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

In addition to the clinic, the airline invited 160 children and guardians from the Kings County Tennis League to attend matches at the US Open. They were given promenade seats and access to the airline’s hospitality suite.

Now in its second year, the Force for Good programme is a five-year partnership between Emirates and the USTA Foundation. It supports youth tennis development in the United States through initiatives such as the refurbishment of community tennis courts. To date, Emirates has contributed USD 1 million to renovations in Brooklyn, New York, and East Palo Alto, California. The total planned commitment over the partnership period is USD 2.5 million.
