Emirates and dnata Donate Repurposed Strollers to UAE Non-Profits

Emirates Stroller Initiative Supports Community Organizations in Dubai

Emirates and dnata have collaborated with local non-profit organizations in the UAE to donate 430 repurposed baby strollers to children and families in need.

The initiative brought together teams from Emirates Airport Services, Emirates Engineering and dnata4good, dnata’s employee-led volunteer programme. The strollers, previously used at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3, were refurbished and distributed to organisations including Hope Amel UAE, Senses and Al Noor Rehabilitation & Welfare Association for People of Determination.

The red Emirates strollers are part of the airline’s family travel services and are available for passengers travelling through Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport. Families can use the strollers during their airport journey from check-in to boarding and arrival.

In December 2025, Emirates introduced 1,000 new airport strollers and set aside 430 older units for repurposing. Emirates Engineering refurbished the strollers by updating the branding and preparing them for reuse. The units were then cleaned and sanitised before distribution.

dnata4good coordinated with local organisations to identify where the strollers could be used effectively. According to the organisations involved, the strollers will support different community needs, including assistance for single mothers, transportation support for students and use during school trips and outings.

Hope Amel UAE, founded in 2020, supports mothers and families across the UAE through community-led donation initiatives. The organisation distributes essential items, including baby supplies and family care products, to households facing financial difficulties.
