Emirates A380 Model Debuts at Mini-Europe in Brussels
Mini-Europe Showcases Emirates A380 Display in Belgium
Emirates has unveiled a detailed miniature model of its Airbus A380 aircraft at Mini-Europe, adding the airline’s flagship aircraft to the attraction’s collection of scaled European landmarks and exhibits.
The model aircraft was created by Mini-Europe’s design team over more than 60 hours and produced at a 1:25 scale. Measuring nearly three metres in length, the display recreates the Emirates A380 with detailed features including the airline’s livery, wingspan and fuselage design.
The installation forms part of Mini-Europe’s broader exhibition experience, which combines miniature displays, cultural landmarks and interactive attractions in Brussels.
Jean-Pierre Martin, Emirates’ Country Manager in Belgium, said the A380 has become closely associated with international travel and global connectivity, adding that the display offers visitors an opportunity to experience the aircraft in a different setting.
Mini-Europe Managing Director Vinciane Meeùs said the addition reflects the attraction’s focus on connecting European culture with global travel and transport.
Emirates has operated services to Brussels for more than 11 years and has carried over three million passengers on routes to and through Dubai. The airline previously operated a one-time Airbus A380 service to Brussels Airport in 2018 following the inauguration of the airport’s first A380-compatible gate.
The airline currently operates flights between Brussels and Dubai using Boeing 777 aircraft, including retrofitted cabins with Premium Economy seating.
Visitors can view the Emirates A380 display at Mini-Europe in Brussels as part of the attraction’s regular exhibition programme.
