Delta Begins Nonstop Service from Atlanta to Marrakech
Delta has launched its first nonstop flight from Atlanta to Marrakech, marking a new air connection between the Southeastern United States and Morocco. The inaugural flight on October 25 was celebrated at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with Moroccan music, local treats, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Delta employees, airport partners, and customers.
“Delta’s new nonstop service to Marrakech marks an important step in connecting the U.S. and Africa,” said Christine Marchand-Pardo, Delta’s Managing Director of EMEAI Operations.
“This route provides travelers with easier access to one of North Africa’s most distinctive destinations.”
The new service operates three times a week, offering customers a range of travel options across Delta’s cabin experiences, including Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort+, and Main Cabin.

Upon arrival in Marrakech, passengers were welcomed with traditional Moroccan hospitality featuring mint tea and local snacks. The new connection supports travel, trade, and cultural exchange between the two regions, offering a convenient gateway to explore Morocco’s history, cuisine, and landscapes.
