Courtyard by Marriott Shillong has announced the appointment of Tanuj Arora as the new General Manager. With over 18 years of experience, Tanuj is a dynamic leader with a strong hotel opening and operations background, consistently delivering value and excellence. 

Bringing extensive knowledge in the rooms division, revenue, and hotel operations, Tanuj will drive innovation, revenue growth, and business development, steering the hotel toward new milestones. 

Tanuj has had an impressive career in the hospitality industry, contributing significantly to the launch of some of India’s most prestigious hotels. Among these, his roles have included the Fairmont Jaipur, Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Hilton Chennai, and the groundbreaking Hard Rock Hotel in Goa, which marked a significant milestone as India’s first Hard Rock property.

Throughout his career, Tanuj has taken on crucial leadership positions. Most notably, he served as the General Manager at the luxurious Planet Hollywood Hotel in Thane, Mumbai, where he honed his skills in managing high-end hospitality experiences.

Now, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shillong, Tanuj aims to elevate the brand’s presence in the region, improve guest experiences, and expand Marriott’s footprint within this growing city.
