China Eastern Airlines to Resume Direct Shanghai–Delhi Flights from November 9, 2025
China Eastern Airlines has announced the resumption of direct flights between Shanghai and Delhi starting November 9, 2025. The service will operate three times weekly on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The flight from Delhi, MU564, will depart at 7:55 PM, arriving in Shanghai at 4:10 AM the following day. The return flight, MU563, departs Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 12:50 PM and arrives at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, at 5:45 PM local time. Tickets for the route are now available.
The Shanghai–Delhi route connects two major economic and cultural hubs in India and China. The resumption of this service completes China Eastern Airlines’ network restoration in India, supporting business, tourism, and trade between the two countries.
InterGlobe Air Transport has served as the airline’s exclusive General Sales Agent (GSA) in India since 2002. The company manages sales, marketing, reservations, ticketing, and operational support, and will continue to support the route using its knowledge of the Indian market.

The route will be operated with Airbus A330-200 aircraft, featuring in-flight Wi-Fi and a cabin environment designed for long-range travel. Through Shanghai Pudong, passengers can connect to destinations across mainland China as well as North America, Japan, South Korea, and Europe.
