Capital A CFO Teh Mun Hui Recognised in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Asia 2025

Capital A’s Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Teh Mun Hui, has been included in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 list, which recognises 100 leaders making an impact across industries and communities in the region. She is one of four Malaysian honourees this year.

Since assuming the role of Group CFO at Capital A, Mun Hui has played a key role in the Group’s financial transformation, including the PN17 regularisation plan and the proposed disposal of Capital A’s aviation assets to AirAsia X (AAX), coordinating shareholder, regulatory, and financing workstreams. In 2024, she oversaw Capital A’s US$443 million revenue bond, which expanded the Group’s investor base and supported market confidence in its strategy.

Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A, said Mun Hui’s work has been central to the development of Capital A’s diversified operations across engineering, logistics, fintech, and F&B, highlighting her role in the Group’s restructuring and investor engagement.

Teh Mun Hui said, “I am honoured to be recognised alongside leaders from across Asia. This recognition reflects the contributions of our teams who supported the Group’s transformation and the leadership that enabled these efforts. We remain focused on discipline, transparency, and sustainable performance as we continue Capital A’s restructuring.”

Ms Ang Khoon Fong, CEO of Fortune Asia, noted that the Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 list highlights the depth and range of leaders shaping the region across business, culture, sport, and public life.
